DP fair
The IB Diploma fair was held recently at LIS and it proved to be a huge success. This fair was the ideal opportunity for Year 10 and 11 students to learn more about the IB Diploma Program and make informed decisions about their future.
The fair featured was a vibrant atmosphere with each subject represented by Year 12 DP (Diploma Program) students and subject teachers at each stand. Year 10 and 11 students could speak to the Year 12s and teachers about the different subjects and syllabus. This gave the younger students an opportunity to gain an insight into the levels and complexities of the courses they will undertake in the future. Year 11 students were able to discuss their academic plans for the coming year, while Year 10 students could begin to think about their options for the IB DP.
The IB DP fair provided students with the perfect opportunity to gain an understanding of the curriculum and the expectations of the courses. Moreover, the conversations and presentations by the students helped foster interest in the subject matter.
