大运幕后 | “蓉宝”高定服装诞生记The Stories of Rongbao's Haute Couture Outfits

汪圆圆和她的团队，此次一共为“蓉宝”设计了六款衣服，其中“云海雪舞”和“芙蓉锦绣”两款汉服主题服装的灵感，便来自她心中对成都的印象——雪山和芙蓉，这是她最为满意的两款。

Wang Yuanyuan and her team designed a total of six sets of clothes for Rongbao this time. Among them, Dancing in Snowy Cloud Sea and Hibiscus Splendor, these two sets with the inspiration for the Hanfu theme coming from her impression of Chengdu, snowy mountains and hibiscus. Among them, and the two are also her favorites.

“芙蓉是市花，很能体现成都的本地文化。”汪圆圆介绍说。“芙蓉锦绣”款的衣服，面料上选用了织锦缎，刺绣、钉珠等，设计则请到了中国十佳时装设计师、中国服装设计师协会时装艺术委员会委员彭晶进行专业指导。“为了让这款‘蓉宝’更有质感，我和另外一名设计师王浩宇，特意赶过去请彭晶老师指导，她还指点了我们如何做衣服后面的流苏。”不仅如此，这款衣服的帽子还被汪圆圆做成了虎头帽的样子，寓意运动员们能在赛场上“虎虎生风”。

“Hibiscus is the city flower of Chengdu, and it represents the local culture very well.” Wang Yuanyuan said. For Hibiscus Splendor design, they used brocade satin for the fabrics and sought professional guidance on the embroidery, beads and other designs from Peng Jing, a top ten fashion designer in China and a member of the fashion art committee of the China Fashion Association. “To give Rongbao a more refined texture, another designer Wang Haoyu and I went to seek guidance from Peng Jing. She also taught us how to make the tassels on the back of the clothing.” In addition, Wang Yuanyuan designed the hat of this outfit to look like a tiger’s head, symbolizing that athletes can perform with great strength and vitality on the field like tigers.

在这六款衣服中，被收藏者大赞可爱的，还有她和设计师李思雨联手打造的“蓉宝很忙”牛仔系列服装。该系列有红、绿两款，每款“蓉宝”都身穿牛仔背带裤，系着印有“CHENGDU（成都）”字样的领带，显得憨萌乖巧。“牛仔是最常见的一种面料，本身就很有亲切感，印上‘CHENGDU（成都）’的印花，是希望别人一眼就能知道，这是来自成都的‘蓉宝’。”这款“蓉宝很忙”在没有大规模宣发的时候，就已经卖得特别好。高销量的背后，是七十多次的迭代和升级。

Out of these six sets of clothes, the one that received high praise from the collector for its cuteness is Rongbao is Busy cowboy series that she co-created with designer Li Siyu. The series comes in two colors, red and green, with each Rongbao wearing denim overalls and a tie with the words CHENGDU printed on it, giving them a cute and innocent appearance. “Denim is a very common fabric with an intimate feel to it. By adding the CHENGDU pattern, we hoped to make it instantly recognizable as the Rongbao from Chengdu.” Rongbao is Busy series sold very well even before any large-scale promotion was carried out. Behind the high sales figures are over 70 rounds of iteration and upgrades.

从2022年4月收到设计任务开始，汪圆圆的作息几乎就围绕着“蓉宝”打转，从睁眼到闭眼，她脑海里想的全是如何更好地呈现“蓉宝”的服装。拿“太阳精灵”这款服装来说，在制作上如何体现“太阳神鸟”这一设计元素，就让她想了许久。“最终我们选择了金色的织锦作为面料，并着重表现花卉和火焰的元素。”为了让“太阳神鸟”的造型更加凸显，汪圆圆和她的团队专门采用一种金线编织的蕾丝边，用作外围的掐丝设计，以此象征太阳。

Since receiving the design task in April 2022, Wang Yuanyuan’s daily routine has revolved almost entirely around Rongbao, with her thoughts consumed by how to present the clothing of Rongbao in the best possible way from the moment she woke up to the moment she went to sleep. For the Sun Elf design, she spent a long time working on how to incorporate the design element of the Sun and Immortal Birds. “We ultimately chose the golden brocade as the fabric and focused on incorporating elements of flowers and flames.” To make the design of the Sun and Immortal Birds  more visible, Wang Yuanyuan and her team used a lace trim made of gold thread for the cutout design around the edges, symbolizing the sun.

“希望大家能通过我们的设计，感受到成都传递出来的热情！”汪圆圆说。

“We hope that everyone can feel the warmth and hospitality of Chengdu through our designs!” said Wang Yuanyuan.

有别于汪圆圆色彩跳脱的工作室，李冬晴的工作室则简洁许多，办公桌上仅有一台笔记本电脑和些许工具。和工作室的风格一脉相承，此次李冬晴设计的“蓉宝耍乒乓”系列服装，简约中又透露出许多巧思。

Different from Wang Yuanyuan’s colorfully vibrant studio, Li Dongqing’s studio is much simpler, with only a laptop and a few tools on her desk. In keeping with her studio’s style, the series of Rongbao Plays Ping Pong designed by Li Dongqing reveals a lot of ingenuity in its simplicity.

“蓉宝耍乒乓”系列服装主要用红白面料进行拼接设计，胸前的“乒乓球拍”可拆卸，收藏者可以把它别在“蓉宝”的手中，也可以别在自己的身上。

Rongbao Plays Ping-Pong collection is mainly designed with red and white fabrics sewn together, and the detachable “ping-pong bat” on the chest can be attached to Rongbao’s hand or to the collector’s clothes.

在李冬晴的手中，“蓉宝”穿上了条纹衫——其实，这背后的灵感来源于李冬晴自己。当她还是一名乒乓球运动员的时候，就爱穿这样的条纹衫上球场。“对我来说，条纹元素是青春的回忆，它代表着一种朝气蓬勃的状态。”李冬晴六岁开始学打乒乓球，直到初中才停止比赛，获得过的最高名次是全国团体赛的第三名。

In Li Dongqing’s hands, Rongbao put on a striped shirt. The inspiration behind this design came from Li Dongqing herself. When she was still a ping-pong player, she loved wearing this type of striped shirt while playing ping-pong. “For me, the striped element represents youthful memories and a vibrant state of mind,” said Li Dongqing. She started playing ping-pong at the age of six and stopped competing in junior high school. Her highest achievement was the third place in the national team competition.

2021年，在上海工作的李冬晴，收到了西部高级定制中心的入驻邀约，紧跟着便开始为“蓉宝”设计服装。“能为‘蓉宝’设计衣服装，我感到很荣幸，既能为运动健儿们鼓劲加油，还能把我曾经最爱的运动融入到设计中，很激动！”李冬晴说。

In 2021, Li Dongqing, who worked in Shanghai at that time, received an invitation to join the West China Couture Fashion Center and then began designing clothing for Rongbao. “I feel very honored to design clothes for Rongbao. Not only can I cheer on the athletes, but I can also incorporate my favorite sport into the design. It’s very exciting!” said Li Dongqing.

除了“蓉宝耍乒乓”系列服装外，李冬晴还设计出了“蓉宝看大戏”系列服装，其灵感取自川剧中的变脸，帽檐处有珠饰、毛球等川剧服装里的经典元素。“川剧是中国的非物质文化遗产，此次大运会又在成都举办，如果能把两者结合起来，对成都的本地文化会是一种很好的宣传。”为了和大运会会徽的颜色相呼应，李冬晴在“蓉宝看大戏”系列服装中，还将蓝、橘两色进行大胆碰撞。

In addition to the Rongbao Plays Ping-Pong series, Li Dongqing also designed the Rongbao Watches Opera series, inspired by the face-changing technique in Sichuan Opera. The hats are adorned with classic elements from Sichuan Opera costumes, such as beads and pom-poms. “Sichuan Opera is a part of China’s intangible cultural heritage, and with the upcoming Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, it would be a great opportunity to combine the two and promote the local culture of Chengdu.” In order to match the colors of the emblem of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games, Li Dongqing boldly combined the colors blue and orange in the Rongbao Watches Opera series.

为了让“蓉宝”的服装更精美，她曾数次进行调整，尤其是“蓉宝看大戏”系列服装，至少修改了四五个月。“帽檐上的珠饰，以及织布上的雕刻，去批量生产的话，在工艺上难度很大，所以打样完成后，都是我们团队在手工缝制。”李冬晴说。

In order to make the clothing of Rongbao more exquisite, she has made several adjustments, especially for the Rongbao Watches Opera series, which took at least four to five months to perfect. “The beading on the brim and the intricate weaving details on the fabric are very difficult to mass-produce using machinery, so our team had to hand-sew everything after the sample was completed,” explained Li Dongqing.

采访时，“蓉宝”服装已日趋完善，成都大运会开幕的时间也逐渐逼近。作为一名曾经的乒乓球运动员，李冬晴希望运动员们都能赛出好成绩，“同时感受到成都的热情！”

At that time of the interview, the clothing for Rongbao is perfected, and the opening ceremony of the Chengdu 2021 FISU World University Games is also approaching. As a former ping-pong player, Li Dongqing hopes that athletes can achieve good results and “feel the hospitality of Chengdu!”
